It features a burr grinding system, which gives you the greatest control and consistency over your grind, and an adjustable grind level from coarse to fine, adjusted by twisting the upper bean container. The amount of grind is also controlled by a simple timer.
A key feature of the Bodum Bistro Electric Coffee Grinder that really sets it apart from other grinders is its borosilicate glass container that catches the coffee grounds. Most coffee grinders use a plastic catchment container, however when the coffee grounds exit a grinder they are statically charged and tend to float around, clinging to various parts of the grinder making a mess. Borosilicate glass is inherently static-free, allowing the grounds to fall where they belong. This combined with the tight plastic/rubber lid makes it the most practical and mess-free grinder on the market.
The Bodum Bistro Electric Coffee Grinder also has a silicone band around the catchment container to give you an easy and firm grip.
